Special Parking Directions for Field

As you can see from the Map of Field Area, our field is located on private property. Parking is a major issue for us. The family that owns the land is located at 33 Hobbs Road and it is imperative that nobody blocks their driveway. There can be no parking on the side of the road OPPOSITE the field or you will be ticketed. Hobbs road is a very busy road.

Looking at the field map, you will see where Routes 111, 151 and Hobbs Road come together. This will be the primary parking area. Where these roads converge, there is a church, a town owned building called "Centennial Hall" and the town common. You can park in the church parking lot (there are spaces behind the church) and in the parking lot of Centennial Hall. You can also park off the road next to the town common where you will see a gazebo. You can make the short walk to the field from there, taking pains not to cut across people's property. Again, it is a busy road so children need to be escorted.

We can have a limited number of cars on the field itself. We will have spaces for the head coaches of each team and the officials. That is all because the family that owns the land has asked us to keep as many cars off the field as possible and our program personnell have to cart all the game equipment onto the field.

I realize this is not ideal but it what we have to work with. For our first home game against Amherst, it worked out pretty well due to their cooperation. We strongly encourage carpooling wherever possible and staggered arrivals.
